Our team recently completed an impeccable roofing project, working in conjunction with a construction firm tasked with carrying out extension works on an existing property. This collaborative effort seamlessly blended contemporary roofing design with practical functionality. The process began with the erection of scaffolding, ensuring safe and efficient access for our operatives throughout the installation. To enhance the property’s energy efficiency, high-quality insulation was installed, followed by eave vents and felt support trays to promote ventilation and reinforce the roof’s structural integrity.

We applied Vent 3 PRO breathable membrane, paired with treated battens, establishing a durable and weather-resistant foundation. A standout feature of this project was the installation of three Velux windows, each fitted with interlocking tile flashing kits to ensure a watertight and aesthetically pleasing integration with the extended structure. For the roof covering, we opted for modern interlocking concrete tiles, complemented by a maintenance-free dry fix verge system at the gable ends, delivering both durability and a streamlined finish. Code 5 lead flashings and cover flashings were expertly installed along the back wall, sealed with flexible lead sealant to provide a robust defence against moisture ingress.

Upon completion, the scaffolding was dismantled, and the job site was maintained in a clean and orderly condition throughout—a testament to our professionalism and effective coordination with the construction firm. This roof not only elevates the property’s modern appeal with its sleek lines and natural light infusion but also ensures long-lasting performance and efficiency, seamlessly complementing the extension works.
