Re Roof - Hoylake, Wirral.

Our team recently completed an exceptional roofing project that highlights our dedication to precision, durability, and aesthetic excellence. The process began with the erection of secure scaffolding, providing a safe and stable platform for the work ahead. The outdated roof covering was carefully removed and disposed of into a skip, ensuring proper waste management and a clear workspace. To lay the groundwork for the renovation, the loft space was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the subsequent enhancements.

To improve the property’s energy efficiency, we installed high-quality insulation throughout the roof structure. Proper ventilation and support were addressed with the addition of eave vents and felt support trays, safeguarding the roof’s longevity. We then applied Vent 3 PRO breathable membrane, paired with treated battens, establishing a robust and weather-resistant base. A GRP terrace join was expertly fitted to ensure a seamless and watertight transition between sections.

For this project, we selected Marley ACME clay plain tiles, renowned for their timeless appeal and durability, to deliver a sophisticated finish. Around the chimney stacks, Code 5 lead soakers and flashings were installed, with flexible lead sealant applied within the brick joints to provide a reliable seal against moisture penetration. The roof was ridged with Marley capped angle clay ridges, installed using a modern dry fix system and mechanically fixed at each ridge and hip tile, ensuring both structural integrity and a sleek, traditional appearance.

Upon completion, the scaffolding was dismantled, and the job site was maintained in a clean and orderly state throughout the project—reflecting our unwavering commitment to professionalism. This installation not only enhances the property’s architectural character but also guarantees lasting performance and protection.
